Among the Lilies
the more that I look into the detail
observing the wonder of the lilies -
pure, pristine, perfect
devoid of defect
transfixed into infinity
I count the lily as a blessing
a wonder from stem to sepal
from pistil to petal
& I am proud to be present and persistent,
among the lilies
