Autumn Leaves

Kick the leaves and watch them fly!
Kick the leaves up to the sky,
swing your legs, don’t be shy,
kick the leaves and hear them sigh.

It feels so good to make them fly
that I stop, and wonder why,
the grown-ups just walk on by
past where the crunchy leaves lie.
