Be Prepared

I’m going to climb a mountain.
I’ll need a flask of tea.
A lunchbox and some plasters,
In case I scrape my knee.

I’m going to climb a mountain.
I’d better pack a coat.
A Mars bar for emergencies
And obviously some rope.

I’m going to climb a mountain.
I’ll take some extra socks.
A rucksack and my hiking boots,
For scrambling over rocks.

It’s really just a school day.
I’m feeling rather scared.
So just like climbing mountains,
It helps to be prepared.
