Chocolate
I like chocolate as it melts upon my tongue,
but also left intact and unbegun -
the sweet anticipation of restraint
(or gobbled in one go brings no complaint).
I like chocolate when I've found my awkward patch,
when favourite team just lost their football match;
I'll take a bite when feeling happy too.
What suits me best is sharing it with you.
but also left intact and unbegun -
the sweet anticipation of restraint
(or gobbled in one go brings no complaint).
I like chocolate when I've found my awkward patch,
when favourite team just lost their football match;
I'll take a bite when feeling happy too.
What suits me best is sharing it with you.
