Dear Santa Claus ...
Dear Santa Claus,
This year I think I’ve been awfully good
And tried to do things the way that I should
Well ...
Except for the time that I buttered the cat
and put lots of jello in Dad’s favorite hat
Or the time ...
I filled up the tub with marshmallow fluff
And ran down the street all dressed in the buff
Oh, and once …
I brushed my teeth with chocolate sauce
And put on a wig made of pink candy floss
I should mention …
That time they had to cut sister’s hair
Because of the bubble gum I stuck in there
And …
Well, I’d like to go on, but I think that it’s clear
That I’ve been much better than I was last year!
