The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Doings

Listen to the poem ...
There are many things
A penguin can do,
But if you watch them too long
Your nose might turn blue.

There are many things
A flea can do,
Like back to front bungee jumps,
From your dog to you.

There are many things
A cat can do,
Like giving you that look
Which says, you haven’t got a clue.

There are many things
A dog can do,
Usually where they shouldn’t,
Such as going to the loo.

There are many things
A cow can do,
They can’t jump over the moon
But they can say moo.

There are many things
A tortoise can do,
Unless you’re in a hurry
Then there’s only a few.

There are many things
That you can do,
So on every day
Why not try something new?
