Every Tree is an Island
A tree
is more than just a tree.
It is a bustling community,
of bugs and birds,
and moss and lichen,
a shelter,
a homestead,
a larder,
a kitchen,
an airport,
a highway,
a branch line,
a stream.
What a wonderful,
wondrous thing
is a tree.
is more than just a tree.
It is a bustling community,
of bugs and birds,
and moss and lichen,
a shelter,
a homestead,
a larder,
a kitchen,
an airport,
a highway,
a branch line,
a stream.
What a wonderful,
wondrous thing
is a tree.
