Families
James poked fun at me
because I have two Dads,
but Jessie only has one Mum
and Carly has none.
How can that be bad?
Gerald gets picked up
by his Nan and Hazel
by her sister,
Naomi by her Aunty Jan
and Jack by his babysitter.
As long as we have people
who love us,
does it matter who they are?
My two Dads or your two Dads
(though you live with only one)
they’re all family - it can be anyone.
because I have two Dads,
but Jessie only has one Mum
and Carly has none.
How can that be bad?
Gerald gets picked up
by his Nan and Hazel
by her sister,
Naomi by her Aunty Jan
and Jack by his babysitter.
As long as we have people
who love us,
does it matter who they are?
My two Dads or your two Dads
(though you live with only one)
they’re all family - it can be anyone.
