Happiness Is
Sometimes your happiness is a stationery shop.
Inviting, creative and colourful, like a shiny new box of colour pencils
opened on Christmas or New Year’s Eve: how will you choose only one favourite,
from the shop shelves filled with creative jewels and gems, artistic dreams and excitement, when you forget your every worry as you begin to window-shop?
Other times it is mum's spider plant, a glimpse
of precious happiness in green, a burst of her cares and promises.
But yesterday, it was the jingle of mum's voice to
Tell us her house plants' names in songs of family and flowers.
