Hedgehugs

You shouldn't hug a hedgehog,
it’s just not the thing to do.
If you hugged a hedgehog
then its spikes would puncture you.
But when I’m feeling hedgehoggy,
all spikily cross inside,
my mate Bea still hugs me
saying she is on my side.
She hugs me really tightly
even though she's kinda small
but her special squishy hedgehugs
really are the best of all.
