How Does a Snake Stay Cozy?
You could try putting a scarf on a snake,
But it just wouldn’t take.
No, it just wouldn’t take.
You could try putting a snake in a hat.
He’d look snazzy like that,
But he’d only get colder.
And don’t bother putting a shawl on his shoulder.
Give him a sock or a moccasin shoe,
And it just wouldn’t do.
No, it just wouldn’t do.
‘Cause a snake doesn’t make his own body heat.
Plus, he hasn’t got feet.
(Moral of the Story:But it just wouldn’t take.
Put a snake in the sun,
And he’s sure to have fun.
Put a snake in an outfit,
He’ll slither right out of it.)
