I Love You More Than Ketchup
Do you love me more than ketchup?
Do you love me more than mustard?
Do you love me more than ice cream
or a heap of frozen custard?
Do you love me more than pie?
Do you love me more than cake?
Do you love me more than all
the treats a pastry chef can bake?
Do you love me more than books,
funky tunes, and your TV?
I love you more than all these things
and my love is always free.
Yes, I love you more than ketchup.
There’s no mountain I’d not climb,
to prove to you my love will last
until the end of time.
My love goes higher than the clouds
and deeper than the sea.
My love for you goes on and on,
beyond the galaxy.
Ketchup tastes delicious but,
I think it would be better,
to squirt it on some french fries
and munch on them together.
Both of those alone taste good
but like my love for you,
when our hearts join as one,
love will multiply by two.
Like a trusty ketchup packet,
I will take you on the go.
We’ll wander all around the world
through rain, and sun, and snow.
We'll travel to the pyramids,
over every hill and canyon.
Like my favorite condiment,
you’ll be a great companion.
Yes! I love to gobble ketchup
every breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
But matched against my love for you,
you’ll always be the winner!
Do you love me more than mustard?
Do you love me more than ice cream
or a heap of frozen custard?
Do you love me more than pie?
Do you love me more than cake?
Do you love me more than all
the treats a pastry chef can bake?
Do you love me more than books,
funky tunes, and your TV?
I love you more than all these things
and my love is always free.
Yes, I love you more than ketchup.
There’s no mountain I’d not climb,
to prove to you my love will last
until the end of time.
My love goes higher than the clouds
and deeper than the sea.
My love for you goes on and on,
beyond the galaxy.
Ketchup tastes delicious but,
I think it would be better,
to squirt it on some french fries
