I am an Artist
Nature
There is a print of you in my poem.
It is my Octopus in the air,
snipped from a newspaper.
It has its neighbours of my creations on my page,
of a Dragon's Flame,
sun & rose are the colours - the colour of a star,
from a tradition and tale.
And this is the only picture,
of stripes fashioned for the hover of a bee,
The symmetry of the tower,
the illustration of a dragonfly.
For I am an artist, it must be true.
