The Dirigible Balloon
Poetry for Children

Incy Wincy

Listen to Nannie read her poem ...
Scurrying in the shadowed grill,
Beneath the darkened window sill,
A myriad of glinting eyes,
Waiting for her insect prize,
Eight legs stretched with hairy knees,
Prepared to pounce, equipped to seize,
Buzzing fly your time is brief,
You’re about to meet your grief!
