Laila Asks
Laila asks me if I want to build a snowman.
I tell her it’s July and ask if she means snowperson.
She says she has a freezer full of snow
and yeah, whatever.
Laila asks me if I want to use coal for the eyes
I say, What’s coal?
She says there was something about it
on the news but she’s not really sure
Laila asks if I want to use a carrot for the nose
I say, Are they organic?
Laila leaves.
