Lunar Pareidolia

(The Man in the Moon )
Why did we put a man on the moon?
Out where there’s nothing (but stars)?
Does he miss home? Is he
Happy alone? Is he
Dreaming of Venus or Mars?
Dad says there isn’t a man on the moon.
Not in this century.
But! If there isn’t a man on the moon,
Why is he smiling at me?
