Mime Jamboree

It’s the mime jamboree,
mimes gather around!
Let’s put on a show
(but shh…not a sound!).

Pretend to munch cake
with a big gulp of air,
rub your belly (what a feast!)
though nothing is there.

Pull imaginary ropes,
act like you’re in a box.
Host a lively debate
where nobody talks.

Play invisible fiddles
eek, cover your ears!
Run in place, win the race,
the crowd (silently) cheers!

It’s the mime jamboree,
we’ll have a (hushed) ball
as soon as we push past
this make-believe wall…
