My Matchbox Museum
A ‘star’ sticker from Miss Campbell
that’s not sticky any more
An ancient coin from Grannie’s purse
dated 1984!
A tiny piece of pottery
found on a beach walk last week
A blue, monkey pencil-topper
Dad sometimes makes him speak
A ticket stub from the circus
I was terrified of the clown
A joke from a Christmas cracker
Makes me laugh when I’m feeling down
A fallen helicopter seed
sent down from a sycamore tree
All snug in my little matchbox
A mini museum of me
that’s not sticky any more
An ancient coin from Grannie’s purse
dated 1984!
A tiny piece of pottery
found on a beach walk last week
A blue, monkey pencil-topper
Dad sometimes makes him speak
A ticket stub from the circus
I was terrified of the clown
A joke from a Christmas cracker
Makes me laugh when I’m feeling down
A fallen helicopter seed
sent down from a sycamore tree
All snug in my little matchbox
A mini museum of me
