My Own Worst Enemy
I like to creep up on myself
And loudly holler BOO!
I like to tread upon my toes
And box my ears and tweak my nose
And thump my belly too.
I like to kick me up the bum
And slap me on the wrist,
I like to poke me in the eye
And pull my hair until I cry
And give my neck a twist.
It’s possible, it seems to me,
I am my own worst enemy.
And loudly holler BOO!
I like to tread upon my toes
And box my ears and tweak my nose
And thump my belly too.
I like to kick me up the bum
And slap me on the wrist,
I like to poke me in the eye
And pull my hair until I cry
And give my neck a twist.
It’s possible, it seems to me,
I am my own worst enemy.
