My Uncle Ali’s Ankles

O, my Uncle Ali’s ankles
Strapped in sandals drum up dramas,
As he tramples through the pampas
In his polka dot pyjamas,
For he prances as he dances
To Brazil from the Bahamas,
Prompting disapproving glances
From the local llama farmers.
Now, unless my Uncle Ali
Soon abandons his old sandals,
It still rankles that his ankles
Will continue causing scandals.
From the Indies to the Andes
He admires the panoramas,
As he gambols through the brambles
And alarms the farmers’ llamas.
Strapped in sandals drum up dramas,
As he tramples through the pampas
In his polka dot pyjamas,
For he prances as he dances
To Brazil from the Bahamas,
Prompting disapproving glances
From the local llama farmers.
Now, unless my Uncle Ali
Soon abandons his old sandals,
It still rankles that his ankles
Will continue causing scandals.
From the Indies to the Andes
He admires the panoramas,
As he gambols through the brambles
And alarms the farmers’ llamas.
