Pet Poems
Criss-Cross CreaturesDid you know a cockapoo's a spaniel mixed with poodle?
And not a smelly substance from a cock-a-doodle-doodle?
It's kind of got me wondering what other beasts could cross…
A blend between a bull and bear would soon show us who's boss!
Or how about I mix a loyal doggy with a sheep?
A funny, faithful FluffWoof would be one I'd want to keep!
Crossing cows with kangaroos would be a boingy boon…
We'd soon see if those MooRoos jumped up high above the moon!
And what about flamingos mixed up with a smelly skunk?
A perfect, perfumed PinkStink would be anything but junk!
But would they make the perfect pet? Well, now I'm not so sure.
They all sound big and smelly and they'd not fit through my door!
But, in fact, I've got the cross that stands above the rest…
My muddled mongrel Muttster is the mixture I love best!
Dogs…
Woof-hoo! Clip my lead!
Walkies! How I love that word!
Sticks are bow-wow-eee!
Walkies! How I love that word!
Sticks are bow-wow-eee!
…Vs Cats
Open this door now!
Meh, I think I'll stay inside.
Close the door? Miaow!
Meh, I think I'll stay inside.
Close the door? Miaow!
