Red Hot Dragon Date

Listen to Linda's poem ...
From the single second that I met her,
I knew she was the stunning scaly one!
Tingling fireworks from snout to talons,
My heart flared golden like a summer sun.

My dragon date from the starry heavens
Ignited a red hot sizzling flame.
She gazed lovingly with bright molten eyes
And I knew she felt exactly the same.

So we flew on a red hot dragon date:
The crater rim of Mount Vesuvius.
Tails entwined, silhouetted by moonlight,
Dreamy location at its grooviest!

Dancing sharp Argentinian tangos,
With crazy-cool kicks and swishy-tail flicks,
My bow tie twirled like helicopter blades -
There was even a flash of sequin knicks!

We dined in great style on a five star feast:
Roasted chillies dipped in mad hot mustard;
Nicely spicy battle-failed knight goujons;
And dragon dessert of lava custard!

Basking beside this volcanic furnace
Our hearts into one were mixed and melted.
Ink spilt across a plush velvet night sky
And with shooting stars blackness was pelted.

So I’ve booked our next red hot dragon date:
A crater view table at Mount Etna.
For I’ve found my love of the century -
I’m so red hot lucky to have met her!
