Roadrunner
The Roadrunner races rapidly
On zygodactyl tippy-toes
Avoiding predators by zipping
Lickety-split;
Ravaging the chaparral
Gastronomically;
Swallowing scorpions whole and
Rattlesnakes bit-by-bit.
On zygodactyl tippy-toes
Avoiding predators by zipping
Lickety-split;
Ravaging the chaparral
Gastronomically;
Swallowing scorpions whole and
Rattlesnakes bit-by-bit.
