Seashore Shells
Tiny shell in my hand.
Swirls and lines, grainy sand.
Bigger shell—listen, hear:
Sounds of ocean in my ear!
Wiggly ridge, tiny holes,
Bumps and curves, dips and rolls
Lay shells out in fancy rows—
Friends bring theirs, collection grows.
Water’s edge rolls in more
shells that decorate the shore.
Swirls and lines, grainy sand.
Bigger shell—listen, hear:
Sounds of ocean in my ear!
Wiggly ridge, tiny holes,
Bumps and curves, dips and rolls
Lay shells out in fancy rows—
Friends bring theirs, collection grows.
Water’s edge rolls in more
shells that decorate the shore.
