Starting the Day
The half-dozing light turns from silver to gold
a quivering moment that’s hard to hold
as the wakening land, every curve and each fold
shrugs off its sleep and the night time’s cold
and the sun appears, warm, wise and old
saying, ´Morning is here. Wake up! Be bold!
The day has arrived! Wake up! Be bold!’
