The Forest And I
I want to escape
stamp brown earth
till it aches
scatter leaves as I shake
twig mistakes
‘long my wake.
I want to say no!
and go
on my own
become head member
to the club
of alone.
And I want to hold on
stay strong
if I’m wrong
for I saw
a fawn
in the woods
now it's gone.
stamp brown earth
till it aches
scatter leaves as I shake
twig mistakes
‘long my wake.
I want to say no!
and go
on my own
become head member
to the club
of alone.
And I want to hold on
stay strong
if I’m wrong
for I saw
a fawn
in the woods
now it's gone.
