The Ice-cream Truck
Hey, look! The ice-cream truck has come.
Ting-ding! Ting-ding!
Can I try out new flavours, mum?
"My boy, sure thing!"
Truck Man, a cone with Cookie Dough
And Currant, please.
The Mint and Peach look tasty, so
Two scoops of these!
Vanilla, Moose tracks, Strawberry,
And Choco chips;
Wait! I can't let the Raspberry
Escape my lips!
And this! And that! Let my scoop be
Fir-tree-like tall.
"Young boy, now nothing's left with me.
You've chosen all."
Ting-ding! Ting-ding!
Can I try out new flavours, mum?
"My boy, sure thing!"
Truck Man, a cone with Cookie Dough
And Currant, please.
The Mint and Peach look tasty, so
Two scoops of these!
Vanilla, Moose tracks, Strawberry,
And Choco chips;
Wait! I can't let the Raspberry
Escape my lips!
And this! And that! Let my scoop be
Fir-tree-like tall.
"Young boy, now nothing's left with me.
You've chosen all."
