The Sailing Tiger
Sailing Tiger O Sailing Tiger, why are you at sea?
You are not of salt and sand go back to your home of tree
Your place, dear tiger is on dry land
You can’t sail, no tiger can!
Sailing Tiger O Sailing Tiger, your claws are ever so long
They tear the sails and scrape the hull, this is just so wrong!
Sailing Tiger O Sailing Tiger, a midshipmen with dreams galore
To one day become the legend, “Sir Captain Roar!”.
Sailing Tiger O Sailing Tiger, no man afloat has ambition matching
To dream that one day not the fastest ship would catch him
Sailing Tiger O Sailing Tiger, with your taste for salty spray,
I pray that you will win the day!
The Sailing Tiger, a nautical wonder
Watch his ship from across the bay, sail away as fast as thunder!
