The Sandpiper
She moves along the seashore
Waltzing with the waves
Then gives her bow to the morning star
As night sinks to its grave
Beneath her lithe and limber legs
The surf turns pirouettes
This dance that started with the dawn
Will last ‘til sweet sunset
Waltzing with the waves
Then gives her bow to the morning star
As night sinks to its grave
Beneath her lithe and limber legs
The surf turns pirouettes
This dance that started with the dawn
Will last ‘til sweet sunset
