The Sun
The sun is a fisherman
casting its rays
into the cool dark depths
of the earth
coaxing each seed to
nibble its slow way
up, up, up
and break the
surface
and then, with a
golden
kiss
releasing its catches
to bob
in green seas.
casting its rays
into the cool dark depths
of the earth
coaxing each seed to
nibble its slow way
up, up, up
and break the
surface
and then, with a
golden
kiss
releasing its catches
to bob
in green seas.
