Thermals for Pelicans
Pelicans soar over shore and bay.
Warmer air’s rising to meet the day.
Darker-patched ground and concrete cities
make columns of thermals or dust-devil eddies.
Pelican wing-tips can sense the push
where expanding warm air lifts and swirls with a rush.
Peacefully, Pelicans glide the sky,
making use of those thermals to soar on high.
Warmer air’s rising to meet the day.
Darker-patched ground and concrete cities
make columns of thermals or dust-devil eddies.
Pelican wing-tips can sense the push
where expanding warm air lifts and swirls with a rush.
Peacefully, Pelicans glide the sky,
making use of those thermals to soar on high.
