Thoughts on Seaweed

Slimy surfboards
sliding on the tide.
Forgotten eyebrows
resting on dry sand.

Do crustaceans use
seaweed as wigs?

The perfect belt for crabs,
shoelaces for seagulls,
dental floss for sharks.

Do eels go to Halloween parties
dressed as seaweed?
