Toast

Dear Mr Leech,

I am very sorry I did not do the homework
about the digestive system but I went
to Breakfast Club where Miss McCarthy made me cut
all the crusts off all the slices of toast
and there were four hundred and fifty seven slices
(approximately) so my arm was really very tired
and when I went home I had to help my little sister
glue sequins on my grandad so I ended up
oversleeping this morning and I would do it tonight
but I have been asked to help the little kids
at After School Club and they are having toast
but they have run out of bread because Breakfast Club
had so much so I am having to stick together the four hundred
and fifty seven (approximately) crusts from yesterday
or was it the day before it’s quite difficult to keep up.

P.S. It’s a hard life, isn’t it?
