Your six-monthly check-up is now due
Dear Hansel and Gretel,
Your six-monthly check-up is now due
After the unfortunate number of fillings last time,
I do hope you have both been brushing twice a day.
Remember, it’s very important to save
Gingerbread walls
Chocolate chimneys
Toffee tiles
Liquorice drainpipes
Sugar windowpanes
and
Biscuit block paving
for an occasional treat, perhaps at the weekend.
They should NOT make up the majority of your daily diet.
I’m afraid that ‘licking a minty door handle’
really is no substitute for a good fluoride toothpaste.
Best wishes,
S. Miles
